In 2012, the Foundation set a goal to create a permanent Endowment Fund with the San Diego Foundation to fund student scholarships and teacher mini-grants. As our endowment fund grows, so do the number and amount of student scholarships and teacher mini grants awarded each year.
Generous donations from GHS Hall of Honoree Jim Spackman, Class of 1958, in 2019 and from the Eugene Fackler Charitable Trust in 2021 allow us to continue to increase the number of student scholarships and teacher mini grants.
